Sleep Apnoea Notifications: Sleep apnoea notifications are available on Apple Watch Series 9 and later, Ultra 2 and later and SE 3. The feature is intended to detect signs of moderate to severe sleep apnoea for people aged 18 years or older without a diagnosis of sleep apnoea. Always follow directions for use. The feature is not intended for use in screening for, diagnosing, treating or managing sleep apnoea. Even without a notification, sleep apnoea may still be present. Consult a medical practitioner if you have symptoms of sleep apnoea, or any other breathing disturbance.
Vitals: The Vitals app is for wellness purposes only and not for medical use.
Cycle Tracking: The Cycle Tracking app should not be used for birth control or to diagnose a health condition.
Mobile Connectivity: Carrier plan required for cellular service. Contact your service provider for more details. Connection may vary based on network availability. International roaming is not supported. Check apple.com/nz/watch/cellular for participating carriers and eligibility. See support.apple.com/HT207578 for additional setup instructions.
Power and Battery: Battery life varies by use and configuration; see apple.com/nz/watch/battery for more information.
Emergency SOS: Emergency SOS requires a mobile network connection or Wi-Fi calling with an internet connection from your Apple Watch or nearby iPhone. You can use cellular models of Apple Watch to make an emergency call in many locations, provided that a mobile network is available. Some mobile networks may not accept an emergency call from your Apple Watch if your Apple Watch isn’t activated, if it isn’t compatible with or configured to operate on a particular mobile network, if it isn’t set up for mobile service or if the mobile network does not support emergency calling over IMS. See support.apple.com/108374 and apple.com/nz/watch/cellular for more information.
Hypertension Notifications: Hypertension notifications are not intended for use by people under 22 years old, those who have been previously diagnosed with hypertension or pregnant persons. Always follow directions for use.
ECG: The ECG app is available on Apple Watch Series 4 and later (excluding Apple Watch SE models) and can generate an ECG similar to a single-lead electrocardiogram. Intended for use by people 22 years old and over. Always follow directions for use. The device is not intended to replace traditional methods of diagnosis. Consult a doctor if atrial fibrillation is detected or if you have symptoms of a heart attack, stroke or other cardiovascular conditions.
IRN (Irregular Rhythm Notification): Irregular rhythm notification requires the latest version of watchOS and iOS. It is not intended for use by people under 22 years old or those who have been previously diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (AFib). Always follow directions for use. The device is not intended to replace traditional methods of diagnosis. Consult a doctor if atrial fibrillation is detected or if you have symptoms of a heart attack, stroke or other cardiovascular conditions.

Emergency SOS via Satellite: Emergency SOS requires a satellite connection, mobile network connection or Wi-Fi calling with an internet connection from your Apple Watch or nearby iPhone.

Water and Dust Resistance: Apple Watch Series 2, Series 3, Series 4, Series 5, Series 6, Series 7, Series 8, Series 9, Series 10 and Series 11, and Apple Watch SE, SE 2 and SE 3 have a water resistance rating of 50 metres under ISO standard 22810:2010. This means that they may be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean. Series 10 and later can also be used for snorkelling to 6 metres. However, they should not be used for scuba diving, waterskiing or other activities involving high-velocity water. Apple Watch Ultra, ultra 2 and Ultra 3 have a water resistance rating of 100 metres under ISO standard 22810:2010. They may be used for recreational scuba diving (with compatible third-party app from the App Store) to 40 metres, and high-speed water sports. They should not be used for diving below 40 metres. Water resistance is not a permanent condition and can diminish over time. For additional information, see support.apple.com/109522. Apple Watch Series 8, Series 9, Series 10 and Series 11, and Apple Watch Ultra, ultra 2 and Ultra 3 are rated IP6X dust resistant.
Satellite: Emergency SOS and Find My via satellite are included for free for two years with the activation of Apple Watch Ultra 3. Connection and response times vary based on location, site conditions and other factors. Find My via satellite requires a carrier plan. Satellite connectivity is provided by Globalstar and its affiliates. See support.apple.com/123924 for more information.
